In reply to Mefail. Hi Mefail, I would say it is perfectly achievable for a beginner, and there are even tour groups that organize the hike and activities inclusive of Butterfly Valley into their itinerary, so you can just follow along and go at their slow pace if preferred. Hope this helps!:)

Would you recommend the hike for a beginner, I have read about some beginners having no issues, and have also heard the opposite. Since you are experienced, what would you recommend this to a beginner hiker?
