It is in Mid Wales at the Southern end of the Snowdonia National Park. You should do an article on Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales (and England) that is actually in North Wales. No-one calls it Mount Snowdon but rather by its real name Yr Wyddfa. That is its welsh name but you’ll be fine with Snowdon.
Snowdon is nearly 600 ft higher than Cader Idris and about 1 hour drive further North. Like Cader it has many trails to the summit.
