4.0 out of 5 stars Chaise pour toute occasion

5.0 out of 5 stars Great lightweight portable chair

I originally used the low-back Helinox chairs but found extended sitting tended to cause neck strain. These high-back chairs are light-years more comfortable, and much more reasonably priced. They're of course not as easily packed as the low-back style, but these chairs are still a weight and size savings for what they give you in my opinion. I use them for fishing, canoe camping, and hunting, usually carried strapped to the outside of my pack. They go together easily, although they can be noisy to put together in the woods unless you're careful.
I use these during deer season when I'm in a new area and not carrying a stand. When I find a promising spot, I can sit all day in this thing and be comfortable. I've also used them in deer blinds, but they are a little close to the ground for most retail blind windows. They shine however for my purposes when I throw together a quick and dirty natural blind.
I still woudn't consider these for ultra-light backpacking of the AT, but for short trips, when you want to sit comfortably with head support, these chairs are hard to beat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great chair compared to others out there.

I bought this one, the comparable Montara lounge, the blue $14 light weight chair from Walmart, and the FB Sport with the short back. I actually think the $14 Walmart chair is the most comfortable, but its about twice as heavy and of cheaper quality. The Marchway is a close second in comfort but is lighter and better quality. I give the Marchway the edge overall, as it provides good support under your thighs compared to the FB Sport and Montara lounge. The FB Sport wasn't comfortable at all. It felt like I was sliding forward all the time. I sent it back. The Montara has a slight feeling of falling forward, but was tolerable. One other note, this Marchway actually comes with the large anti-sink feet...rather than the feet shown in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm 6 ft 205 lbs. My wife is much smaller but also preferred the Marchway. She said the FB Sport dug into her legs too much. My 4yr old son said the same thing.
