The jacket meets all these needs and the fit is great -- not bulky but large enough that I can wear a fleece or midweight jacket underneath. I purchased a large (I am 150 lbs, 5'-3"), and wore it in a light, but steady rain and stayed perfectly dry. At first I thought the hood hung over my head a little too much, but seemed helpful to have the protection in the rain, and you can roll back the hood slightly without it looking weird if you want a little more visibility (I also have a small head so most people will think the hood is a perfect fit).
It is overall a quality jacket and a great neutral (and light) color.
