” Its not in the bright and happy moments in your life, but in the darkness and drudgery, that you make your choice – to shun. Or to face it bravely..and Shine. ”
How many of us go through the days of our life without actually intentionally contemplating on the fact that we are..wasting it away.
Our teens, our early twenties, our late twenties..hour after hour, day after day, week after week, we start the year with great optimism, before we know it valentine’s day is over, then the year is half gone. And just getting caught up with work and losing track of the time, it just continues to pass and before we know it, christmas and new year is here again and we realised, oh no, what have we achieved.
What were the milestones of the year?
If this resonates with you, then perhaps its time one reflect on how we spend it, who are the people we interact with, the joys we bring to the people around us.
There are many ways one can help be a better person, but here’s a little something that can really cheer up another person out there and make her/ him smile. And here’s where you can do a little something:
Introducing the ..’You’ve Just Got Bloomed’ project
Project: ” You’ve Just Got Bloomed ”
Shine like a Sunflower
Working in a busy city like Singapore with the stress of the every day grind, it’s easy to walk around with a sad face and a heart full of complains and regrets. But why should we? Why not smile with a little optimism and cheerfulness, wave goodbye to the bus driver when you get off and make his day. Just like these sunflowers, smile and radaiate that love.
Make Someone Smile
Flowers aren’t only for valentine’s day or when someone is sick in hospital. A happy bouquet can really do wonders to cheer a person up who is having a bad day, week or a bad episode in general. The Better Florist had a lovely initiative where you order with them and you also get to contribute to send a bouquet of flowers to the less fortunate. How nice will it be that those from such families who might have less friends/ loved ones by their side, can receive a little bouquet of sunshine in their arms. We all love to receive gifts, so why not send a delicate bundle like this to make someone smile.
With that, I end off with this note : whenever we have the capacity, do a little something and make someone’s day.
