The Girl with a Wanderlust

Different…being different, I never quite embraced it…

Lydiascapes - The Girl with a Wanderlust

Like any ordinary girl, I enjoy high teas, I shop for clothes occasionally, paint my nails, etc. Yet, there was always a deeper longing to search and discover more.

Holiday after holiday, flight after flight, every trip leaves me with a sense of bewilderment and still, the craving doesn’t go away.

It was only late last year, when I reflect on all that I have accomplished or achieved in my 20+years of my life, I finally came to the conclusion , I am different, and I am finally proud of it. I desire different things, I am not contented with the status quo, I am not contented with an occasional beach holiday, there needs to be more to life than just going with the flow.

Change is the only constant in life. Wanderlust

Life is short, and memories fade because of man’s limited mental capacity/ limits. I don’t want to lose the essence of life’s little joys, delights and thrills to a diminishing memory, I want to try to recapture and store them tightly. Hence, I decided to pen down my adventures, and if anyone is slightly interested in them, I would be glad to relish a small part of my life and bring out that deep curiosity and wanderlust that every person possesses.

So here goes, I hope you’ll enjoy my little humble reads…

Here’s sharing one of my favourite quotes

’Down the Rabbit Hole’ – Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll (Photo credited to Wu Zhou Yi)

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.”
“I don’t much care where –”
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
